Where can I play golf?
De Golfhorst golf course in America and Golf- en Countryclub Geijsteren are a 15-minute drive away, De Swinkelsche golf course in Someren 40 minutes. The Golf & Relaxation Package includes the green fee for 18 holes on one of the three courses.
What can I do when the weather is bad?
Thermaalbad Arcen, the Limburgs Museum, Overloon War Museum, the Mission Museum in Steyl monastery village and Mind Mystery are all indoors. At the hotel, the indoor pool and the saunas are waiting for you.
Where can I find nature?
The Pieterpad (5 minutes by car), De Rozenhof in Lottum (11 minutes), De Maasduinen National Park, the Mariapeel and the Reindersmeer (20 minutes) and De Groote Peel (45 minutes). From the hotel there are seven walking routes and eleven cycling routes.

In the centre of Horst (5 minutes), the centre of Venlo (20 minutes), at Designer Outlet Roermond (30 minutes) and in the city centres of Roermond (35 minutes) and Nijmegen (45 minutes).

Excellent!!
Great hotel. Everything was spot on. On Thursday morning there was some disturbance from the bin lorry, the laundry van and deliveries. But otherwise top.

Pleasant stay
Beautiful hotel in a magnificent setting by the water. Room fine and a relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. The only downside was traffic noise with the windows open. The surroundings, with lots of nature and charming villages, invite you to go walking or cycling. Breakfast and dinner were fine/good. Staff friendly and helpful. The swimming pool and wellness facilities are a nice bonus too.

What a wonderful experience. Great, and this hotel is highly recommended!
How we enjoyed your fantastic hotel! We had a Comfort room, 27m2, and for us more than enough space thanks to the efficient layout, spotlessly clean, lovely chairs and, not forgetting, the wonderful and very wide beds, and not forgetting the spacious bathroom with separate shower and bath. Full praise for the staff too, exceptionally kind, capable and helpful! Breakfast is top and very varied, with delicious egg dishes among other things, including a soft-boiled egg, soft fruit, pancakes and various kinds of quark. And for those who like them, there are hard-boiled eggs too. Striking on arrival: a beautifully decorated, large and imposing space with pleasant seating areas and all the shared facilities, such as the space for breakfast, dinner and the bar, all in all efficiently and functionally laid out. Add to that a lovely terrace overlooking a small lake and the beautiful swimming pool (the only small drawback is that the pool does not open until 10:00). Conclusion: a great experience and we would love to come back again.
