De Golfhorst golf course on the edge of De Peel
De Golfhorst was laid out in 1997 in America, at the gateway to the De Peel nature area. The 18-hole course (par 70) lies on an enclosed site, quietly set among meadows and fields. It is relatively short, but the big differences in height call for long shots and carefully judged approach shots to raised greens.
The highlight is hole 3, a par 5 of 467 metres. At the top of the hill you have a wide view over the surrounding countryside. Strategically placed bunkers line the whole course.

The Americabaan and the clubhouse
Next to the main course lies the Americabaan: 9 holes par 3, par 27 in total. The holes vary in length, and on holes 4 and 5 you play over differences in height. A fine first course for beginners, and a place for experienced golfers to sharpen their short game.
At the clubhouse you will find a covered driving range, a putting green and a chipping green, and there is a golf school. After your round, sit down in the clubhouse restaurant or on its terrace. Buggies are available for 9 or 18 holes.

Playing on your own? Choose a tee time between 12:00 and 14:00: the Happy Hour rate of € 45 for 18 holes then applies instead of € 57.50. Book your tee time with the course by phone or email, and report to the course reception 30 minutes beforehand with your (digital) NGF card.
