The sword Excalibur in the stone, with the Fenix track behind it, in Avalon

Avalon and Fenix

Toverland theme park in Sevenum has six worlds with some 40 rides and shows, including five roller coasters and two water rides; in 2026 the park turns 25. Avalon, open since 2018, is a medieval fairy-tale world around a lake. Above it races Fenix, a 40-metre-high wing coaster that reaches 95 kilometres per hour and turns upside down three times.

Prefer something calmer? Merlin’s Quest is a twelve-minute boat ride through the caves of Avalon. And at The Flaming Feather, the park’s first restaurant with table service, you dine in Burgundian style by candlelight.

The first drop of the wooden roller coaster Troy at Toverland

Troy in Ithaka

Ithaka revolves around ancient Greece and the Trojan War, with a replica of the Trojan horse as a photo spot. This is home to Troy, open since 2007: 35 metres high, 90 kilometres per hour and 1,077 metres of track, the longest, fastest and tallest wooden roller coaster in the Benelux.

The green and yellow spinning coaster Dwervelwind in the Magische Vallei at Toverland

Magische Vallei and Port Laguna

In the Magische Vallei, with its dwarf theme, stands Booster Bike from 2004, regarded as the world’s first motorbike coaster, which launches you to 73 kilometres per hour. Next to it spins the spinning coaster Dwervelwind, and Djengu River is the water ride here.

By the main entrance lies Port Laguna, a Mediterranean harbour town with the Solaris lighthouse and terraces. Wunderwald and the Land van Toos are largely under cover. During Winter Feelings, on Wednesdays, at weekends and in the Christmas holidays, lights hang throughout all six worlds.

Tip from reception

Buy your tickets online at least seven days in advance, which saves up to € 7 per person, and add the parking ticket straight away. Start with Fenix and Troy, and save Merlin’s Quest for when you want to sit down for a while.
