A village of brand stores
McArthurGlen’s Designer Outlet Roermond opened in November 2001 with around seventy shops, on the site of the former Ernst Casimir barracks. After extensions in 2005 and 2011 the centre now has more than 150 shops, and in 2018 it welcomed around eight million visitors.
The second phase was built in the style of Amsterdam canal houses; elsewhere you’ll see white pavilions and half-timbering. Well-known brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Burberry and Nike sell here at discounts of up to 70 per cent.

Three minutes from the town centre
Above the shops you can see the tower of St Christopher’s Cathedral: the historic centre of Roermond is a three-minute walk away. If you come by train, you walk from the station through the town centre to the outlet.
At Guest Services you can borrow a wheelchair free of charge (against a deposit) or, when it rains, an umbrella. Dogs on a lead are welcome, and you can leave your bags in a locker that you reserve with your phone.
