 Park Hotel Horst is situated in the middle of the touristic heartland of Peel and Maas. Wonderful rambling and cycling routes criss-cross through the woody area, where sleepy Maas villages are interspersed with stunning nature areas, such as Nationaal Park de Maasduinen and Nationaal Park de Grote Peel.
 Within a 10 km radius, you will find many small and large tourist attractions, such as the picturesque Maas village of Arcen with its famous Kasteeltuinen, the Thermaalbad Arcen, and the renowned special beer brewery Hertog Jan. For the children, Toverland in Sevenum is a true paradise. A visit to the authentic Peel village of Griendstveen is also an experience not to be forgotten. In Horst, the former lace factory has been converted into a real museum where you can image yourself being in the textile industry at the start of the previous century.

For those that love golf will love this region, with its choice of several great 18 hole courses, such as the Golfhorst in Horst-America or the Peelse Golf in Evertsoord. The region also offers other sporting possibilities such as archery, adventure survival, solex tours and many other possibilities for team challenges North Limburg is renowned for its typical regional produce: The asparagus, the mushroom, the strawberry, the blueberry and the rose! A visit to the Asparagus and Mushroom museum de Locht, De Paddestoelerij, Aardbeien-land, Hayberries Stop and the rose village of Lottum are definitely worth it.

A visit to Maastricht or the Designer Outlet Centre Roermond are fairly obvious choices, and with
its location near the fashionable German shopping cities of Düsseldorf, Krefeld and Monchengladbach gives the region a little bit of international feel.
